i like it- the way it goes and explains certain things from other characters perspectives, giving them all a background and upbringing. it doesn't have multiple main characters,(put that flag away) it just gives their views/feelings to further clear up the story, it helps you understand more and doesn't leave you with questions like "Where the F do these people keep popping out of?".

it also doesn't take away all the attention from the actual main character and leave you feeling unsatisfied and wondering why the F we are focusing on a character that shouldn't have even been relevant for 2 chapters. now, although I do enjoy the backgrounds chapters for these side characters, I personally would be against you making a whole story about a guy who won't even be around for long and rollercoaster rides of emotions when reading are good but people tend to get sick of stories real quick when they can't see where its heading, this goes for me aswell so I wouldnt draw out a scenario for to long. the main character is not a mary sue and is pretty likable and so far the story is not bad, I could see my self being excited for another chapter. I so far like it but I lose interest quick cause this is not what I usually read, so lets see how it goes!
