Gintama Ranbu in development for PS4, PS Vita This year's 40th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump will announce on Monday that Bandai Namco Entertainment's upcoming Gintama action game, previously code-named "Gintama Project Last Game," is titled Gintama Ranbu. The magazine will also reveal that Shinpachi and Kagura will be playable characters. Weekly Shonen Jump announced the game for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in July. A teaser video showed Gintoki battling Takasugi. Gintama inspired its first smartphone game titled Gintama Kabukichō Daikatsugeki (Gintama Kabuki District Great Action Movie) for iOS and Android that launched last year. The manga has inspired previous games for the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, Wii, and PlayStation Portable.
